Caxton Business partners with UKIE to support the growth of UK gaming firms

Caxton Business have partnered with UKIE, the trade body for the UK's games and interactive entertainment industry. Together we will help support UKIE members take the lead in the international gaming industry and support the global payment needs of UK gaming firms.

Caxton Business already supports thousands of UK businesses with their international payment needs and is already working to help and support a number of UKIE members, including BAFTA nominated Outplay Entertainment.

Supporting growth

Outplay Entertainment is the largest independent mobile game developer in the UK, with the apps receiving over 100 million downloads globally. With their continued year on year growth, international payments and foreign exchange requirements became even more prevalent in their business model. Working with Caxton Business over the past year has helped them achieve sharper rates of exchange, made payments more efficient and provided the expert market insight and guidance they needed to ensure they can concentrate on growing their business.

“Ever since meeting with Caxton to discuss our requirements, we’ve continually held a very strong relationship with them. Not only do they provide us with great rates of exchange, which is key when transacting seven figure sums annually, but they also provide astute market guidance to help us make informed decisions on our FX needs”, Gillian Gray, CFO at Outplay Entertainment.

Joe Wass, Head of FX Strategy, Caxton Business stated, ‘we’re proud to begin working alongside UKIE and aiding their members with a number of different solutions, ranging from offering member rates on corporate cards, helping save money and time with international payments through to creating powerful risk management strategies. The work we already do with a number of companies in the industry, including Edinburgh based Outplay Entertainment, shows that foreign exchange management is of paramount importance.’

All UKIE members will receive a host of benefits that are listed on their partner website. For more information, please contact Joe Wass – [email protected] / 0207 042 7649
